The game ‘Krishna Run’ is based on historic character Krishna. Focused on his childhood activities, the game runs on the storyline of his fight against Asurs in order to establish “Dharma”. The player experiences thrilling game play challenges at all the levels, while shooting the enemies, when defending the innocent, overcoming various obstacles on his way. Every level ends with in fighting and defeating the Asur whose nature was reflected in the sub-levels.
Game Features-
Krishna: – Krishna the Protagonist of this game is the player. He was the eighth child of Devaiki and Vasudev. He is designated as the eighth Avataar of Lord Vishnu. And hence, in the game player has to resurrect various aspect of Dharma and vanquish the tyranny of the King of Mathura – Kansa.
Obstacles: – The role of obstacles is to reduce the strength of Krishna through collision. Krisnha tackles them by either jumping over them or sliding under them.
Enemies: – Krishna jumps from one level to other, shooting enemies of different natures and of increasing difficulty as the level progresses. He needs to shoot a minimum number of enemies in order to collect a peacock feather.
Gems Collection: – Gems are power of wealth Krishna need to collect while venturing against Kansa. The more Gems he collects, the more score he earns. In each level, Krishna also has to take care that he collects sufficient Gems in order to win a peacock feather.
Health: – Krishna’s prime source of energy has been Makkhan. Pots full of Makkhan (butter) are placed at regular intervals for the player. Each pot of butter replenishes his energy and gets to do so by shooting the pots.
Morals: – Each Asur is defeated by a corresponding moral task that is opposite of nature of the Asur. For each moral task performed will let the player score 1000 points. Sufficient numbers of moral tasks done helps Krishna earn a peacock feather.
Bosses (Asuras): – Krishna the player has to fight with nine asuras namely Pootna, Tranavrata, Bakasur, Aghasur, Dhenuka, Kalia, Kuvalyapida (Mad Elephant), Mushtik and finally King Kansa. All of these asuras possess special abilities using which they try to kill Krishna.
Levels: – The game Krishna Run has a total of 36 levels (9 main levels each having 4 sub levels). Each level progressively introduces increasing levels of challenges, newer obstacles and environments. Krishna has to ensure he collects all three peacock feathers in all sublevels.
Graphics: – Every level presents the player with unique background and foreground elements. This helps to create a new environment for the player each time he advances to a new level. Krishna Run is divided into three sections namely the Village (Gokul), the Forest (Vrindhawan) and the City (Mathura).
